Words cannot accurately describe how very delighted I am to have been part of so many couple's lives on their wedding day. In my 20+ years as an officiant, I don't think anything has given me more joy than to finally be able to pronounce same-sex couples as "legally wed".
In the months since the Scotus decision in June of 2015, I have married a steady flow of couples who have been together anywhere from a year & a half to a record-setting 39 years. One couple who "eloped" loved their ceremony so much, they had me travel to their home city to re-enact the ceremony with family & friends!

"So grateful for Selena. From our very first phone consult, it was as if we had known her all our lives. Respected our wishes regarding what prayers we wanted; made the ceremony short & sweet, but extremely memorable. The day of the ceremony, we asked if we could move the time up a couple hours due to events happening in Eureka Springs that weekend. That wasn't a problem; she made everything work for us perfectly.
The ceremony Selena wrote was more than I even knew to ask for. Ginger & I never thought we would see the day same-sex marriage would be legalized in our state. I am 51 & Ginger 70 ... .thought it was not possible in our lifetime. Instead, we received the very first gay license in Grant County, the most redneck County in the State of Arkansas!
Every word Selena spoke was angelic & meaningful. We had no idea the ceremony would affect us the way it did. It was a heart-felt bonding with each other that was new to us. Being together for almost 22 years, we felt already married in our hearts & souls . This was something completely different.
Ginger and I are more in love now than we have ever been, just from this experience. We talk about it everyday still. We both are extremely happy! Our friends that attended were amazed & very moved. The memories of our beautiful ceremony with Selena are priceless."
